  Frankfurt's official full name is: Frankfurt am Main, to distinguish it from Frankfurt am Oder in eastern Germany. Frankfurt is the fifth largest city in Germany, the largest city in Hesse, and an important industrial, commercial, financial and transportation center in Germany and even Europe. It is also Germany's largest airport and railway hub, a famous international convention and exhibition center, and a cultural, educational and tourist center.

  1. Romerberg

The steel spire of the Iron Bridge has been a part of the Frankfurt skyline since 1869, a tribute to the city's industrial era. The Iron Bridge is the only pedestrian bridge across the Main River, connecting the old town and the Rmerberg on the north bank, and the old Sachsenhausen and Museum Embankment on the south bank.

  7. Goethe House

  Goethe House is located at 23-25 Sisgla Street in Frankfurt. It is a beige three-story building. Goethe lived here for 50 years from 1782 to 1832. Goethe House has four floors. The first floor is the kitchen and dining room, the second floor is a Rococo-style salon and music room, the third floor corridor has an exquisite astronomical clock, and the room where Goethe was born has a newspaper with the news of Goethe's birth. The fourth floor is the poet's room.

  8. Palmengarten

  Frankfurt Palmengarten is the largest botanical garden in Germany. It was built in 1868 with private financing and construction, and was completed and opened to the public in 1871.
