　　Guangdong Provincial Museum is located at No. 2 Zhujiang East Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, in the southern part of the central area of Zhujiang New Town, the central axis of Guangzhou's new city. It began to be planned in 1957 and officially opened to the public in 1959. The new museum was laid in December 2004 and completed in 2010. It has a total area of 67,000 square meters. It is the only provincial comprehensive museum in Guangdong Province and a national first-class museum.

　　1. Opening hours

　　9:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Monday. Admission stops at 16:00.

　　2. Transportation

　　Metro: You can take Metro Line 3 or Line 5 to get off at Zhujiang New Town Station, exit from Exit B1, and walk about 5 minutes to arrive; or take the APM line to the Grand Theater Station, exit from Exit B and walk a section of indoor road to arrive.

　　Bus: You can take bus No. 40, 44, 138, 293, 866, 6a and get off at Xiancun Road South Station, and walk about 10 minutes to arrive.

　　Self-driving: There is a parking lot in the museum, but the parking spaces are limited. It is recommended to check the opening status of the parking lot in advance.

　　Historical and cultural exhibition hall: It displays the historical and cultural development process of Guangdong, including ancient cultural relics, historical documents, etc.

　　Natural exhibition hall: It displays the natural landscape and ecological environment of Guangdong, including animal and plant specimens, stratum minerals, etc.

　　Art exhibition hall: It displays the art works and cultural heritage of Guangdong, including calligraphy and painting, ceramics, jade, etc.

　　Chaozhou wood carving exhibition hall: It displays the artistic characteristics and production technology of Chaozhou wood carving, including wood carving furniture, wood carving ornaments, etc.

　　Duan inkstone exhibition hall: It displays the historical culture and production technology of Duan inkstone, including Duan inkstone original stone, Duan inkstone carving, etc.

　　Aquarium: Located on the mezzanine of the third floor, it is suitable for taking photos and checking in, and displays marine life, specimens, etc.
