Tianjin, referred to as "Jin", also known as Jingu, Gushang, and Jinmen, is one of the four municipalities directly under the Central Government of China, and the largest port city in northern my country. 1. The Tientsin Eye Ferris wheel
The Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel, also known as the Tianjin Yongle Bridge Ferris Wheel, is located on the Yongle Bridge at the intersection of Ligongci Street and Wuma Road in Hebei District, Tianjin. It crosses the Haihe River to connect Hebei District and Hongqiao District. It is a Ferris wheel that crosses the river and combines the functions of bridge and wheel, and has both sightseeing and transportation functions. The Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel is the only Ferris wheel built on a bridge in Asia and is one of the landmarks of Tianjin.
2. Tianjin Italian Style Area
Tianjin Italian Style Area is located on the bank of Haihe River in Hebei District of Tianjin. It is a square area surrounded by Wujing Road, Boai Road, Shengli Road and Jianguo Road, covering an area of 28.45 hectares. There are more than 100 well-preserved European buildings with a history of hundreds of years in the district. It is a tourist scenic spot with Italian style in Hebei District of Tianjin.
3. Panshan Scenic Resort
Panshan Scenic Resort is located in Lianhualing Village, Guanzhuang Town, Jizhou District, Tianjin, covering an area of 106 square kilometers. It is known as the "No. 1 Mountain in Jingdong" because it is located in the east of Beijing. Panshan was formerly known as Wuzhong, Xuwu, Sizheng, and Panlong. According to legend, in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Tian Chou, a famous scholar in Wuzhong, refused to be rewarded by Emperor Xian and lived in seclusion here, so it was called Tianpanshan, or Panshan for short.
4. Tianjin Ancient Culture Street
Tianjin Ancient Culture Street is a special commercial street integrating tourism, shopping, entertainment and catering. It gathers many traditional handicrafts and special snacks, such as Zhang clay figurines and Wei kites. Visitors can buy various souvenirs and gifts with Tianjin characteristics here. At the same time, the Ancient Culture Street also retains many ancient buildings and historical and cultural relics, such as Tianhou Palace and Yuhuang Pavilion, so that tourists can appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese culture while feeling the modern business atmosphere.
5. Tianjin Museum
Tianjin Museum is a comprehensive museum of history and art. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Tianjin Museum established in 1918. It is one of the earliest museums in China. Its collection features an emphasis on Chinese art from various dynasties and modern and contemporary historical documents and local historical materials. It currently has nearly 200,000 pieces of various collections, including ancient bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, jades, seals, stationery, oracle bones, currencies, stamps, Dunhuang manuscripts, bamboo, wood, ivory and horn objects, local folk crafts, and modern and contemporary historical documents, as well as 200,000 books and materials.
6. Five Great Avenues Historical and Cultural Block
Wudadao is located in the southern part of Tianjin's central urban area. It consists of five parallel streets running east-west. Locals call it "Wudadao". Wudadao is not an official place name, but a popular colloquial name. From south to north, there are five roads in parallel in this area: Machang Road, Munan Road, Dali Road, Changde Road, and Chongqing Road. These roads are the core components of the Wudadao Cultural Tourism Area.
7. Tianjin Drum Tower
Tianjin Drum Tower is one of the three treasures of Tianjin and a landmark building in the center of Tianjin. Located in Nankai District, Tianjin, the Drum Tower is a three-story building with four city gates: "Zhendong", "Dingnan", "Anxi" and "Gongbei". The bronze bell inside the tower is the treasure of the tower. Overlooking the old city from the tower, you can have a panoramic view of the scenery of the Drum Tower Cultural Street.
8. National Maritime Museum
Tianjin National Maritime Museum is located at No. 377, Haixuan Road, Sino-Singapore Eco-City, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters, with a construction area of 80,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 23,000 square meters. Tianjin National Maritime Museum is a public welfare Class II cultural institution jointly built and managed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and directly under the Binhai New Area People's Government. It is a national comprehensive marine museum integrating collection, display, research and education.
9. Dagu Fort Ruins Museum
Dagukou Fort, located on the south bank of the Haihe River at Dagukou in Binhai New Area, is the throat to Beijing and the barrier to Tianjin. It has been an important coastal defense town since ancient times, and it is known as "there is Humen in the south and Dagu in the north". In modern Chinese history, Dagu Fort has become an important coastal defense barrier in China. In the eighth year of Emperor Xianfeng's reign in the Qing Dynasty, there were 5 Dagukou Forts, 3 of which were on the south bank and 2 on the north bank, named after "Wei", "Zhen", "Hai", "Men" and "Gao" respectively. The total area of Dagukou Fort is about 93.8 hectares.
10.St Joseph's Cathedral Church
St Joseph's Cathedral Church was originally located at Dushan Road, Binjiang Road, Heping District, Tianjin. It faces northeast from southwest. Its full name is the Catholic Xikai Cathedral. Later, it was also called St Joseph's Cathedral Church and Old St Joseph's Cathedral Church because of the area where it is located. St Joseph's Cathedral Church was built in the fifth year of the Republic of China (1916 AD) by French missionary Paul-Marie Dumond. It has a construction area of 1,891.95 square meters and can accommodate 1,500 people at the same time. The plane is in the shape of a cross.
