What are the Eight Sights of Guangzhou?

　　The Eight Scenic of Guangzhou refer to the eight scenic spots in Guangzhou. The beauty of Guangzhou's landscape has always been yearned for and praised by people. Since the Song Dynasty, the Eight Scenic of Guangzhou have been selected, and 48 scenic spots have been selected in successive Dynasties. 　　1. Yuexiu Fenghua

　　Location: Yuexiu Mountain

　　Yuexiu Mountain, also known as Yuexiu Mountain and Yuewang Mountain, is located in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, China, 70 meters above sea level, and is the remaining vein of White Cloud Mountain. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, a Goddess of Mercy Pavilion was built on the mountain, also known as Guanyin Mountain. It is composed of the main peak Yuejinggang and seven hills around it, including Panlonggang, Guihuagang, Mukegang, Changyaogang and Liyutougang, and three lakes (Dongxiu Lake, Nanxiu Lake and Beixiu Lake). The whole Yuexiu Park covers an area of 860,000 square meters. Yuexiu Mountain is a strategic place on the sea in ancient times. 　　Chen's Ancestral Hall, also known as "Chen's Academy", was built in the 14th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1888) and completed in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894). It was jointly built by the Chen family of 72 counties in Guangdong Province in the late Qing Dynasty. It is a famous ancestral hall building in Guangdong Province. The architectural structure of Chen's ancestral hall can be divided into three axes and three entrances, with a construction area of 8000 square meters. Each entrance of the ancestral hall is separated by courtyards and ingeniously connected by corridors and courtyards. There are nine halls and six courtyards in total. The overall layout of the ancestral hall is symmetrical from top to bottom, with halls and pavilions, virtual and real, and magnificent momentum. "Juxian Hall" is the main hall of the central axis of Chen Ancestral Hall and the center of the whole architectural combination of Chen Ancestral Hall. The front of the hall is a broad stone terrace, surrounded by stone balustrades with iron flowers. When the ancestral hall was first built, the Juxian Hall was used for the gathering of clansmen. Later, it was converted into an ancestral hall, and the side rooms on both sides were used by the Academy.
