Stalin Park was built in 1953. Formerly known as Jiangpan Park, it is located on the south bank of Songhua River and covers an area of 105,000 square meters. The park is centered on the Flood Control Memorial Tower. It is famous at home and abroad for its imitation of Russian classical architectural style, the "five-color grass flower beds" throughout the park, and the 16 groups of art sculptures distributed among the green spaces.

You can take buses 2, 8, 12, 16, 20, 23, 64, 65, 79, 83, 101, 102, 103, 118, and 201 to get off at the Flood Control Memorial Tower or Youyi Road Station, and then walk about 400 meters to Stalin Park.

In summer, Stalin Park is filled with the fragrance of green grass, beautiful flowers blooming, boats floating gently on the lake, and people playing and frolicking on the boats.
Winter in the north has a unique charm. Stalin Park allows you to enjoy the crystal tree hangings, frozen river surface and various exquisite and unique ice sculptures.
5. Historical Background
Before the 1950s, this was a railway dedicated line and shipping terminal. In summer, the park is covered with green grass, and rows of tall trees provide shade for visitors; in winter, the park is covered with silver, and the ice and snow are beautiful. It is refreshing to watch the tree hangings, ride ice sails and sleds.
