  Guanzhong Folk Art Museum is located in Wutai Ancient Town, Chang'an District, Xi'an. The museum collects folk items from past dynasties, such as furniture, lamps, New Year paintings, brick carvings, etc. Among them, the most eye-catching are the relocated and rebuilt ancient houses, theaters, shops and gatehouses of Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as thousands of stone horse hitching posts. After entering the archway-style gate, visitors can walk along the trail in the courtyard to the depth of the tour.

  Open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year; closed all day on Monday throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 17:00 on New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.

  2. Preferential policies

  Children: Children under 6 years old (not included) or children under 1.2 meters (not included) accompanied by adults are free of charge; children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.4 meters (not included) are charged 30 yuan.

  Elderly: Elderly over 65 years old (inclusive) with valid documents such as birthday certificate, ID card, etc., 30 yuan.

  Disabled: Disabled (wheelchair users), 30 yuan.

  Active military personnel: Officer ID, soldier ID, civilian cadre ID, student ID, 60 yuan.

  University, middle school, and primary school students: Student ID (excluding graduate student ID), 60 yuan.

  3. Must-see tips

  The scenic area is far from the downtown area of Xi'an. It takes about 2 hours by public transportation. You can bring some dry food and drinking water with you for backup.

  At the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda (on holidays), take the Huanshan Tourism Line 2 to get off at "Nan Wutai", and then walk along the pedestrian street to arrive. But this bus is very crowded and you may not be able to squeeze into the bus.
