  Henan Museum, located at No. 8 Nongye Road, Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, was formerly the Henan Provincial Museum. It was built in the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927) and opened on May 1, 1998. It covers an area of 126 acres and a building area of 55,000 square meters. It is a cultural and artistic treasure house that witnesses the development trajectory of Chinese civilization and displays the development context of Chinese history.

  1. Opening hours

  Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00-17:30 (summer), 9:00-17:00 (winter). Closed on Monday.

  2. Transportation route

  Take B11/B18 to the Museum Station (rapid bus station) and walk about 200 meters to arrive.

  3. Scenic spot viewing

  Every Tuesday to Sunday, there will be Chinese ancient music performances in the museum. The performance time is 11:00 and 16:00 respectively, and each performance is about 20 minutes.

  4. Collection recommendations

  Fuhao eagle-shaped vase, Duling square tripod, jade-handled iron sword, cloud-patterned bronze ban, four gods and clouds mural, Wu Zetian gold tablet, Ru kiln sky blue glaze carved goose-neck vase.
