Dashushan National Forest Park is mainly based on Dashushan Mountain, about 10 kilometers away from the center of Hefei. Dashushan Mountain is 284 meters above sea level. It is a rare mountain in the suburbs of Hefei. The mountain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest. It is oval in shape and was formed by volcanic eruption.

　　Tourists can take Metro Line 2 and get off at Dashushan Station, exit from Exit 4, and cross Banbian Street to reach the north gate entrance of Dashushan National Forest Park.

　　Self-driving tourists should try to choose non-weekends and non-holidays to go hiking, and pay attention to avoid time periods with heavy traffic (spring and autumn: 9:00-17:00; summer: 6:00-9:00, 18:00-22:00; winter: 10:00-16:00).
