On January 16, 2007, the foundation stone of the new building of Anhui Provincial Museum was laid. The building area of the new building is 41,000 square meters, and the exhibition area is 10,000 square meters. The architectural shape reflects the unique style of Huizhou architecture with five connected directions and four rivers flowing into the hall. It was completed and opened on September 29, 2011. It launched 1 basic exhibition - "Anhui Civilization History Exhibition", 4 special exhibitions - "Ancient Architecture of Huizhou", "Xin'an Painting School", "Four Treasures of Anhui Study" and "Jianghuai Treasures".

　　Take bus No. 13 and get off at Qihuai Road, then go straight south for 500 meters to Anhui Museum.
