　　Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a famous tourist attraction in Xi'an. It is located in Da Ci'en Temple in the southern suburbs of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. Big Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as Da Ci'en Temple Pagoda, was built in 652 AD (the third year of Yonghui in the reign of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty). It was rebuilt during the Chang'an period of Wu Zetian. 　　In the third year of Yonghui in Tang Dynasty (652), Xuanzang presided over the construction of Big Wild Goose Pagoda to preserve the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back to Chang'an from Tianzhu via the Silk Road.
