Xi'an Daming Palace Travel Guide: Entering the Tang Dynasty Civilization

　　Daming Palace National Heritage Park is a world cultural heritage and a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is located on Taihua South Road, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, on Longshouyuan in the north of Chang'an City. It was built in the eighth year of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan reign in the Tang Dynasty, and its plane is slightly trapezoidal.

　　1. Transportation

　　Bus: Take bus No. 2/17/K17/38/104 to Daming Palace National Heritage Park bus stop, and walk about 780 meters to arrive.

　　Subway: Take subway Line 4 to Hanyuandian Station and Daming Palace Station to arrive.

　　2. Tickets

　　Tickets: Full-price ticket 60 RMB/half-price ticket 30 RMB (Monday to Sunday, January 1st-December 31st).

　　Half-price ticket: Minors aged 6 (not included) to 18 (inclusive) with identity or household registration book; full-time primary, secondary and university students, excluding adult education postgraduates with student ID cards.

　　Free tickets: Seniors aged 65 and above with senior citizen certificates or ID cards; disabled persons with disability certificates; retired military personnel, active military personnel, police, disabled military personnel, and disabled revolutionary persons with valid certificates.

　　3. Opening hours

　　08:30-19:00 (April 16-October 15, Monday-Sunday).

　　4. Cultural exploration route

　　You can visit the Danfeng Gate Ruins Museum, Hanyuan Hall Ruins, Daming Palace Ruins Museum, Miniature Landscape, Xuanzheng Hall Ruins, Zichen Hall Ruins and Linde Hall Ruins. This route allows you to deeply understand the historical and cultural value of Daming Palace.

　　5. Leisure and entertainment route

　　This route includes visiting the Imperial Road Square, visiting the Cultural Digital Experience Center and appreciating the Taiye Lake. You can feel the royal style and garden beauty of Daming Palace through this route.

　　6. Archaeological experience route

　　You can visit the Danfeng Gate Ruins Museum, Daming Palace Ruins Museum, Miniature Landscape and Archaeological Exploration Center. On this route, you can personally participate in the restoration of cultural relics and experience the charm of archaeological work.
