Du Fu Thatched Cottage is the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, when he lived in Chengdu. It is located at No. 37 Qinghua Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is a famous cultural holy place that integrates the layout of a memorial ancestral hall and the style of the poet's former residence.

　　Du Fu Thatched Cottage is open from 08:00 to 20:00 in summer (May 1st to September 30th) and from 08:00 to 18:30 in winter (October 1st to April 30th).

　　The ticket price of Du Fu Thatched Cottage is 50 yuan/person for full ticket and 25 yuan/person for half ticket. Specific groups such as students, the elderly, and soldiers can enjoy free or preferential policies.

　　The recommended tour route is to enter from the main gate, visit the main hall, the Poetry and History Hall, the Chaimen, the Gongbu Temple, the Shaoling Thatched Cottage Pavilion, the Thatched Cottage Former Residence, the Tang Dynasty Ruins, the Thousand Poems Monument, the Bonsai Garden, the Flower Path, the Shadow Wall, and the Daya Hall, and finally leave from the South Gate.

　　The main attractions of Du Fu Thatched Cottage include the Shaoling Thatched Cottage Pavilion, the Daya Hall, the Gongbu Temple, the Thatched Cottage Former Residence, the Tang Dynasty Ruins, and the Thatched Cottage Shadow Wall. Among them, the Shaoling Thatched Cottage Pavilion is one of the most representative buildings of Du Fu Thatched Cottage. There is a stone tablet inside, engraved with the four characters "Shaoling Thatched Cottage". The Daya Hall displays the largest large-scale colored glaze inlaid lacquer murals in China so far and 12 sculptures of famous poets from past dynasties, which vividly show the life of Du Fu and the development history of Chinese classical poetry.

　　Du Fu Thatched Cottage is conveniently accessible and can be reached by bus or subway. Bus lines include 19, 35, 58, 82, 151, 165, 170, 1024, 1031, etc. For subway, take Line 4 and get off at Caotang North Road Station, and you can reach the destination on foot.
