4. Introduction to the scenic spot
Kuanzhai Alley was built in the Qing Dynasty. It is the only 2 remaining of the 33 Qing Dynasty soldier alleys in Chengdu. It is a courtyard-style building. The west entrance of Kuan Alley is the territory of Xianghongqi, and the west entrance of Zhai Alley is the station of Zhenghongqi. At that time, it was not called Kuanzhai Alley, but was called "Xingren Alley" and "Taiping Alley" respectively. It was not until the early years of the Republic of China that this name with obvious northern style was replaced by "Kuanzhai Alley" and has been used to this day.
