Daming Lake Scenic Area is located in the northeast of the center of Jinan City and the north of the old city. It is a park integrating water scenery, garden landscape and ancient buildings. Daming Lake, known as "China's No. 1 Spring Lake", is in the center of the park.

　　Daming Lake is a rare natural lake in a bustling city. It is located in the north of the old city of Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is formed by the confluence of many springs in Jinan. The lake water is injected into Xiaoqing River through Lishui River. Daming Lake is beautiful and is one of the core components of the National 5A-level tourist attraction - the No. 1 Spring Scenic Area in the World. There are six islands of various sizes in the lake, including Lixia Pavilion, Huiquan Hall, and Lake Island. The natural landscape is beautiful and pleasant. There are more than 30 scenic spots and historical sites in the park, including "one pavilion, three gardens, three buildings, four temples, six islands, seven bridges, and ten pavilions".

　　The recommended tour route is: South Gate Archway → Xia Garden → Jiaxuan Temple → Minghu Residence → Take a boat to Lixia Pavilion Island → Huiquan Temple Island → Take a boat to the north bank → Nanfeng Temple → Lotus God Temple → Yuhe Hall → Jianmen Painting and Calligraphy Museum → Mingchang Bell Pavilion → Huibo Tower → Beiji Temple → Induction Well Spring → Natural Stone Museum → Minghu Baoding → Tiegong Temple → Tianxiang Garden → Amusement Park → Exit Southwest Gate. The sightseeing bus route is: starting from the southwest gate of Daming Lake, the whole five-kilometer journey passes through the Lake West Pier (luxury pleasure boat, moat cruise ship station) → Amusement Park → Tiegong Temple → Minghu Show Performance Area → Beiji Pavilion → Nanfeng Temple → Chaoran Tower (cruise boat pier) → Lao She Memorial Hall → Minghu Residence → Zhengnan Gate → Jiaxuan Temple.
