    Shandong Provincial Museum is the first provincial comprehensive geographical museum established after the founding of New China. It was established in 1954.     1. Opening hours

    The opening hours of Shandong Provincial Museum are 9:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday (admission stops at 16:00), and it is closed all day on Mondays (except national statutory holidays). During certain periods, such as December 30, 2023 to January 1, 2024, the museum will extend its opening hours by 2 hours to 19:00 (admission stops at 18:00).

    2. Ticket reservation

    All visitors must make an appointment in advance through the Shandong Museum WeChat official account or the Shandong Museum website and choose a visit date. After the appointment is successful, you must keep the appointment certificate and enter the museum with the certificate and valid documents. Those who have not made an appointment or have not provided a valid certificate cannot enter the museum. Minors must be made an appointment and led by their parents.

    3. Traffic information

    Self-driving route: Take Erhuan East Road and Jingshi Road in the city, adjacent to Shandong Provincial Archives and Art Museum.

    Bus route: Take bus No. 115, 119, 152, 504, BRT5, K139, K160, and get off at the Provincial Museum.

    5. Dining and shopping

    There are souvenir shops and bookstores on the first floor of Shandong Provincial Museum, where you can buy relevant books, handicrafts, etc. In addition, there is a cafe on the first floor, which mainly serves coffee, supplemented by tea art, water bar beverages, Chinese and Western simple meals, exquisite snacks, etc.
