Bayi Park is located in the center of East Lake in Nanchang City, with Minde Road in the north and Zhongshan Road in the south, and Supu Road in the east. There is a famous site Baihuazhou in the East Lake. The East Lake covers an area of about 13 hectares. In the third year of Yuanhe of Emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty (802), Wei Dan, the governor, took the initiative to control the lake to eliminate floods, dredged the silt and planted willows, and then there were "Wanliu Dike" and "Golden Dike".
