"Jiming Spring Dawn" and "Jiming Evening Bell" are one of the Ten Scenes of Xuanwu and the Forty-Eight Scenes of Jinling. In particular, the Medicine Buddha Pagoda and cherry blossoms in Jiming Temple are the objects of everyone's discussion and praise. The scene of Bai Suzhen being pressed under Leifeng Pagoda in the classic TV series "The Legend of the New White Snake" was taken here, so many film and television enthusiasts come here to find traces.   The Ancient Jiming Temple is located in the northeast of Nanjing Beiji Pavilion, facing Xuanwu Lake on its back and Zijin Mountain on the east, covering an area of ??about 50,000 square meters. Since the establishment of the temple in the Western Jin Dynasty, the temple has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. Now it has the mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, Guanyin Hall, Daxiong Hall, Huomeng Tower, Jingyang Tower, Zhigong Terrace, Chanting Hall, Medicine Buddha Pagoda, Sutra Library, Dharma Hall, Guest Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Release Pond, etc. There are many stories circulating in Jiming Temple, with a strong historical color. There are couplets and calligraphy works written by famous masters such as Zhao Puchu, Shi Dingzhi, Zhu Fan, and Yu Zaohua. It is the first temple among many temples in Nanjing. Jiming Temple is a popular place for cherry blossom viewing in Nanjing. Tourists who come to Nanjing in March and April every year must go here to enjoy the flowers.

  3. How to get to Jiming Temple:

  Nanjing: Tourists from all over the country can arrive in Nanjing by plane, train, or long-distance bus. They can take Bus Line 1 from Lukou International Airport to the city. They can take Bus No. 1 at Nanjing Station, or Bus No. 70 or Bus No. 140 at Nanjing Long-distance Bus East Station to reach the temple directly.

  Bus route: Take Bus No. 24 or Bus No. 304 in the city to reach the temple directly. There are many buses from Gulou to Jiming Temple, including Bus No. 52, Bus No. 1, Bus No. 31, and Bus No. 24.
