　　Taiyuan Botanical Garden is the only comprehensive botanical garden in Shanxi Province. It is located at the foot of Mount Tai in Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City. 　　The opening hours of Taiyuan Botanical Garden are divided into peak season and off-season. The peak season is from May 1st to October 31st, and the opening hours are 09:00-19:00; the off-season is from November 1st to April 30th, and the opening hours are 09:00-17:00. It should be noted that ticket checking will be stopped two hours before closing time.

　　The ticket price of Taiyuan Botanical Garden varies according to the season. The full-price ticket in the peak season (May 1st to October 31st) is 50 yuan/person/time, and the half-price ticket is 25 yuan/person/time; the full-price ticket in the off-season (November 1st to April 30th) is 30 yuan/person/time, and the half-price ticket is 15 yuan/person/time. Tickets are one ticket per person, one time, and cannot be reused. They are valid on the same day and can be refunded before the ticket inspection is stopped on the same day. They will be invalid after the expiration date. Visitors can purchase tickets through WeChat mini-programs, Meituan and other platforms.

　　The main scenic spots of Taiyuan Botanical Garden include "Yunshan Lake", "Mountain Style", "Magnolia Garden", "Japanese Garden", etc. Each park has its own unique plants and landscapes. In addition, there are special areas such as Baicao Garden and Tropical Plant Area in the park. Visitors can visit the main scenic area first, and then choose to visit other areas according to their personal interests. It is recommended that visitors spend at least 3 hours to visit the main scenic area and experience the beauty of plants.

　　Tourists can take the tourist bus No. 3 or No. 1 from Taiyuan City to Taiyuan Grand View Garden Scenic Area and walk there. In addition, take bus No. 46 from Taiyuan City Center to Xinminju Station and walk to Baicao Garden. If you depart from Taiyuan City Center, you can take bus No. 39 or No. 67 to the north gate of Taiyuan Botanical Garden and walk there.
