East Lake Vinegar Garden Travel Guide: A Shining Pearl of Chinese Vinegar Culture

The exhibition hall and vinegar therapy garden of East Lake Vinegar Garden have collected various vinegar brewing utensils, farming utensils and more than 700 vinegar therapy prescriptions since the Western Han Dynasty in my country. Visitors can fully understand the historical and cultural heritage of Shanxi old vinegar through the display of ancient and modern utensils, documents, pictures and physical product displays. Entering the quaint Meiheju Vinegar Workshop is like coming to an old vinegar workshop 500 years ago. The old vinegar is fragrant and refreshing, and you can also see the whole process of vinegar brewing. Visitors can personally participate in part of the production process and taste various old vinegars for free. Since this is a food industry, for food hygiene, visitors cannot walk around and touch production tools at will during the visit. After the visit, you can also buy some old vinegar in the store to take home.
