Yellow Crane Tower is located on the top of Snake Mountain in Wuchang, on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Yellow Crane Tower is a landmark building in Wuhan City, and is known as the "Three Major Scenic Spots in Wuhan" together with Qingchuan Pavilion and Guqin Terrace.
1. Transportation
Take bus No. 10/61/401/402 to the Yellow Crane Tower bus stop, and walk about 290 meters to arrive.
2. Tickets
Ordinary ticket: full price ticket 70 RMB/half price ticket 35 RMB (Monday to Sunday, January 1st-December 31st).
Half price ticket: seniors aged 60 to 65, minors aged 6 (excluding 6 years old)-18 years old (including 18 years old), full-time university undergraduates and below.
Free tickets: senior citizens aged 65 and above, active military personnel, disabled military personnel, retired military cadres, disabled persons, children under 6 years old (including 6 years old) or under 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters) in height;
3. Introduction to scenic spots
The Yellow Crane Tower is located on the bank of Wuchang River, close to the Yangtze River Bridge. It is known as "the first tower in the world" and is one of the "three famous towers in Jiangnan".
It is famous for the poem "The ancients have gone on the yellow crane, and only the Yellow Crane Tower remains here". Li Bai, Mao Zedong and others have left poems for the Yellow Crane Tower.
It is built on Snake Mountain. Climbing to the top of the tower and looking far away, you can see the three towns of Wuhan and the Yangtze River. The view is wide and it is one of the city landmarks of Wuhan.
There are also a large number of stone tablets and stone carvings in the scenic area, which are all authentic works of celebrities from past dynasties and have great artistic value.
